1 Week Only - 1 pm to 4 pm

Explore yoga postures, breath work, meditation, visualizations, relaxation, arts & crafts, partner yoga, cooperative group games and FUN! 

Clinical studies have shown that yoga not only improves physical fitness but also contributes to better academic performance, emotional balance, relaxation & behavior.   

Yoga is a form of exercise and relaxation that's safe for both boys and girls of any age.

Equipment to Bring

 Kids are welcome to bring their own yoga materials such as mats, yoga socks, props, etc., but equipment (mat, block, strap, blanket) is available for those who do not bring their own. Please bring own water bottle. Water stations for refill are available.

Why Yoga?

  • Our program strives to promote and support kids on the path toward a calm and balanced mind, as well as help them build a strong and flexible body. Drawing from the basic tenants of yoga, and utilizing a holistic model to engage the creative side of the whole child in a non-competitive environment. Taking away tools from yoga class they can use throughout their everyday lives.  Yoga comes to life in a program designed to stimulate the natural energy and enthusiasm of children. Physical postures and relaxation techniques are based upon maturity of the group.
  • Animals, nature and other objects come alive as we move and learn to stretch our bodies in new creative ways. We promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach focus, relaxation and self-control. Promoting inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; Children will enjoy a nurturing, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, learn self-regulation techniques, develop special friendships and have loads of fun!.  
  • Included in our classes are: yoga postures, yoga games, breathing exercises, relaxation methods, yoga literature, journaling and music & songs. Cultivating a feeling of well-being and respect for others and love for one's self, inside and out.
