About Us

Pine Valley is a family owned and operated private club that has become a beloved family oriented club over the years. Co-Founders Doug and Mary Holtschneider purchased and moved onto this land in 1961, initially to raise farm animals. In 1977, they transformed it into Pine Valley Tennis Club by adding tennis courts. Frank and Lynda Holtschneider expanded the offerings in 1990 by starting the swim side of Pine Valley, creating the Pine Valley Swim and Tennis Club. 

After Doug's passing in 2001 following a battle with cancer, Mary continued to lead the club and retired at the end of 2020, remaining the matriarch of the family. From 1991 to 2023, Pine Valley has utilized its numerous resources to offer various programs, including popular yoga classes. 

The club remains family operated and hosts many racket activities—such as pickleball, tennis, platform tennis, and table tennis—for members throughout the year, in addition to providing a relaxing and fun environment at the pools during the summer months.

Pine Valley offers diverse membership types, ensuring both members and guests enjoy a vibrant and family oriented atmosphere. Spanning 14 beautiful acres, Pine Valley features two streams, a pond, diverse local wildlife, and short scenic wooded walking trails.

Serving the community since 1977, our family oriented club proudly offers a swim and tennis club experience along with engaging yoga classes.
