Chair Yoga

Chair yoga offers you the ability to improve your health through an amazing form of adaptive exercise. You are supported by a chair so you can receive yoga’s healing and restorative benefits that have been known for thousands of years.  Yoga relaxes your body and mind, improves your musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility, and elevates your overall health and well-being.  


DATES: Wednesday's at 10am


  • 60 minute chair yoga class for all levels


  • Yoga for all levels: Blending Hatha yoga and Energy Medicine Yoga which integrates Energy Medicine and yoga to amplify the benefits of your yoga practice without increasing the time devoted to it.  For beginners and experts alike; Chair Yoga is not just for your grandparents!


  • Class is held indoors Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.


  • Membership not required. Must register in advance.

Yang to Yin

A completely integrated practice, combining a strong*, heating, ‘Yang’ vinyasa flow with the quiet, cooling ‘Yin’ aspects of relaxing  restorative poses. Yin postures are held longer (typically up to 5  minutes) to cultivate a meditative mindset and deeper physical opening.  Preparing you for a guided meditation during savasana.

Therapeutic Thursdays

Therapeutic Thursday's offer you the ability to improve your health through an array of adaptive exercises and techniques using therapeutic props to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, ease pain and help bring balance to mind and body by delving deeper than just physical movement, into the subtle body energy systems, including lymphatic system, endocrine, and with breath work.


Each week will offer a different focus on how you can receive yoga’s healing and restorative benefits that have been known for thousands of years. 


Yoga relaxes your body and mind, improves your musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility, and elevates your overall health and well-being.  


Truly an all levels class that allows you to start from where you are and go from there. The room even has easy access with no stairs to climb.

  • As the sun sets over the valley, Lynda, will guide a 60 minute yoga class for all levels in an EMYoga Flow.

Streamside Energy Medicine Yoga

Yoga for all levels that includes: Energy Medicine and yoga to amplify the benefits of your yoga practice without increasing the time devoted to it. Explore the 5 element Flow amongst the 5 Elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal) For beginners and advanced alike: EMYoga fits any yoga style.


  • Students can also enjoy the pools for a short time during pool season (pool area closes 8pm) 
  • Some mats available for use at no charge.

  • Student can then use the 5 pools for the rest of the day.
  • Student can also bring up to 10 guests $15/person (no matter what age) to enjoy the pools. 
  • Cash only (for guests), paid at the gate.

Energy Medicine Yoga

EMYoga

Energy Medicine Yoga is an integrative yoga practice accessible  to students of all levels. The practice includes asana poses,  breathwork, meditation and Energy Medicine techniques such as  acupressure holds, Neurolymphatic Reflex self-massage (a unique and  powerful way of working with and clearing your lymphatic system), and  energy channel clearings. 


EMYoga will help unlock the language of your  body to amplify your healing power – mind, body, and spirit. The result  is a deep love, appreciation and acceptance of yourself just as you are  now, as you continue on a path toward your best self. It is yoga . . .  electrified! 

About The Instructor

Lynda Holtschneider, Pura Vida Yoga

Lynda is an E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500 , YACEP, Energy Medicine Yoga, LoveYourBrain, TCYT (Trauma Centered Yoga Teacher), Gentle Aerial Yoga Teacher, and Integrative Wellness Coach. 


Additional training includes:  

  • Yoga for Arthritis & Fascia
  • Trama-Informed Certified and Trauma Sensitive Yoga based on David Emerson & Dr. Bessel van der Kolk's extensive studies
  • Transformation Through Post-Tramatic Growth

Lynda also teaches Chair Yoga.


Lynda lead the first LoveYourBrain Yoga FUNdamentals in MD and is now a certified Level 2 Facilitator.

LoveYourBrain is 6 week yoga program specifically designed for those who experienced a traumatic brain injury and their caregivers. 


Lynda is currently studying with Lauren Walker to become

 a Master Teacher of EMYoga
